Common questions
Do I have to send my original module?
Yes. Your original holds your car's VIN, key and immobilizer data. We copy it into the replacement so the car sees it as the original. Without it, most modules have to be programmed in the vehicle.
What if my original is too damaged to read?
We'll try a direct read on the bench, and sometimes a small repair gets the data back. If we can't recover it, we tell you before any paid work and ship your original back.
How do you match the replacement?
We match the hardware and part number from your original's label, or a confirmed direct replacement. Include the part number when you order and we'll confirm availability and price before you ship.
Is the used module covered?
Yes. The replacement module and our cloning work carry a 90-day warranty. If it fails in that time, send it back and we'll make it right.
Do I get my original back?
Yes. We return your original with the replacement, unless you ask us to recycle it.
