Bricked ECU recovery
Flash got interrupted, the battery died mid-tune, or the module stopped talking? Many "bricked" modules can be brought back on the bench.

How we recover it
- Bench power and communication check
- Direct read of the module's memory when it won't talk normally
- Rewrite of good software and data
- Checksum and communication verified before it ships back
Before you ship
Don't keep retrying the flash in the car; repeated attempts can make things worse. Note what happened (tool, software, what it was doing when it failed) in your order.
Recovery starts at $399. If your module can't be recovered, you only pay for the diagnosis.
- Price confirmed before you ship
- Original data saved before any work
- Tracked return shipping
- 90-day workmanship warranty
Common questions
Can every bricked ECU be recovered?
Not every one, but many can. If the hardware is damaged, we'll tell you and recommend a replacement. If your module's data can still be read, we can usually clone it into the replacement.
What does it cost if it can't be fixed?
You pay the $125 diagnosis, not the recovery price.
Can you put my tune back on?
We restore the module to working condition. Your tuner reloads the tune afterward.

Send the original if you have it. With your original and the replacement together, most modules can be cloned plug-and-play on our bench. If the original is gone, mail-in programming is available on supported applications, but some setups (security, immobilizer or network initialization) have to be finished with the vehicle present. We'll tell you before you ship.
